First trimester is an important period for the development of the brain of the fetus, it is therefore important for the pregnant women to take in food that is good for the brain.

1. Walnut. Walnut is rich in fatty acid which is an important composition in the brain. Having sufficient walnut will help the development of the brain of the baby. 2. Sea fish. Marine fish is rich in fatty acid. It is also rich in protein, vitamin B and minerals like calcium and iron. All these will be beneficial to the development of the baby.
