Safe to Eat Red bean

Is it safe to eat Red bean during pregnancy, breastfeeding or while trying to conceieve?Is it healthy for infant, toddler or childrent to eat?

Trying to conceive

It is good for couples to eat red bean while they are trying to conceive.


Red bean is a good source of folic acid which is a must-take nutrition for women before and during pregnancy. Folic acid can help to prevent birth defects in newborns.


Red bean is rich in potassium which can help to regulate blood pressure and is therefore beneficial to the heart.
