Development of the Fetus

1. The fetus is now about 4 to 6cm long and weighs approximately 10g to 12g. The growth of the baby will accelerate this week.

2. The reproductive organs become evident.

3. Teeth, hair follicles of the skin will appear at this stage. At the same time, bone cells continue to develop, and the bones start to harden due to the precipitation of the calcium

.

Change to the expectant mother

1. There is an increasing demand for blood from the uterus, the expectant mother will sweat more due to this and will become thirsty more easily than before.

2. Some expectant mothers will see an increase in their weight, but some others will see a drop in their weight due to the early pregnancy response.
