Pregnancy Week 15: Development of the baby and Change to Mother

 Pregnancy week by week: development of the growing fetus and change to expecting mother in pregnancy week 15 and milestone in pregnancy week 15

Development of the Fetus

1. The fetus is about 10cm in length and has a weight of about 45g to 50g.

2. Fetus's skin is thin and transparent which allows the blood vessel to be seen clearly.

3. Eyebrow starts to grow.

4. The fetus may hiccup in the uterus, and this indicates that the fetus had started to breathe.

5. You may be able to tell the gender of the baby in this week.

Change to the expectant mother

1. The pregnant woman may feel pain in the abdomen and the groin due to the growing uterus.

2. Foremilk has started to form.

3. Your breast will now secrete some white milk, and this helps to promote the development of the mammary gland.
