Pregnancy Week 29: Development of the baby and Change to Mother

 Pregnancy week by week: development of the growing fetus and change to expecting mother in pregnancy week 29 and milestone in pregnancy week 29

Development of the baby

1. Baby has a body length of about 25cm and a weight of around 1100 grams.

2. Baby can turn his head towards the light coming from outside the uterus.

3. There is rapid development in baby's brain. His head is growing.

4. Baby's hearing sense has fully formed. The baby may respond differently to different kinds of music that you are listening.

Change to the expectant mother

1. Urination is more often.

2. Weight has increased by about 8.5kg to 11kg since pregnancy.

3. Stretch mark over the abdomen is more evident.

4. Change in the spine, joints, or pelvis may cause back pain.
