I have two children, who attended Ang Mo Kio Methodist Preschool: my son who graduated in 2020 and my daughter in 2023. My daughter was beyond excited to go to school everyday, because she saw how much her brother loved it there. We have been so happy with our experience there, from the extremely dedicated teachers and classroom support staff to the administration. Ang Mo Kio Methodist Preschool has provided everything I was looking for and more.

I want to take this opportunity to say a big Thank you to 王老师 and Ms Janet. They taught my son from K1 to K2 and they have set up their students for success in their next educational paths. Their methods, dedication and creativity engaged my son continuously at his own independent level. The teachers truly helped him excel in whatever he sets his mind to accomplishing anything when he entered primary school

As a nominally Chinese-speaking family, Claire’s exposure to the Chinese language is minimal. We are grateful for Serangoon Garden Methodist Preschool in piquing her interest in the language, with her spontaneously requesting to sing Chinese songs at home. This is in addition to her growing repertoire of Bible songs she learns from school, which we are certain is inculcating strong Christian values and identity.

She clearly enjoys going to school, always excitedly talking about the day spent with her classmates and teachers. From the pictures in the parent-teacher app, we can see that her learning activities are indeed infused with fun! She constantly tells us how she can’t wait for her siblings to join her in school so they can share her experiences! As such, we are confident that our younger twins, Jonathan and Calista will also enjoy school when it is their turn to be enrolled. We would like to express our gratitude to the teachers for taking such good care of Claire!

My daughter has enrolled in Toa Payoh Methodist Preschool since 4 years old. I have never regretted switching her from another school. Her literacy level in English and Chinese and social skills improved tremendously after joining TPMP. The teachers and principal are passionate and their curriculum is attractive, including a virtual session with an astronaut, tour to local farm to learn about plants, group project and individual presentation periodically based on topics that they are learning about. I was really amazed when the teacher showed me the photo of different stalls made from cardboards by the students, and the children having pretend play and buying food with paper money in their classroom. To better prepare the student to enter P1, they even arranged a tour to a primary school to let the student explore the facilities. Vanessa really had a fun time and told me that she can’t wait to enter P1. Last but not least, their year-end concert for this year also did a great job and I believe the children will have deep memory of it. Thank you, Principal Janice, Teacher Ming Loi, Yang Lao Shi, Teacher Karen and Teacher Judith for all your hard work throughout Vanessa’s years of learning.

As a parent, choosing a preschool for my child felt like a monumental decision. We’re thrilled to say that Faith Methodist Preschool has exceeded all our expectations.

Our son has shown tremendous improvement since he started attending. Not only has he become more adept at identifying letters and numbers, but I've also noticed significant growth in his social skills and emotional intelligence. He's learning how to share, empathize, and communicate, all while absorbing the core values that are important to our family. The Principal and teachers at FMP are truly dedicated professionals who know how to bring out the best in each child. They utilize a balanced curriculum that makes learning feel like play but still covers all the essential grounds.

Bedok Methodist Preschool has been like a home away from home for Riley Beth. Our hope for Riley was to grow to be a confident and courageous girl who would seek after God’s heart. We’re very grateful to the teachers at BMP for nurturing these values in Riley. She was a shy little toddler when we transferred her to BMP, and the teachers wasted no effort to acclimatize her to the new school environment, forge edifying friendships, and coach her in public speaking through the termly show-and-tell presentations. She even learnt to be compassionate and empathetic in her interactions with her peers. Kudos to Ms Eiffel Tan, Wang laoshi, Zeng laoshi, Mrs Lim, Mrs Choong, and Mdm Ho, just to name a few.

Through the years the teachers have been very helpful in making us a part of Riley’s learning journey by keeping us apprised of her learning experiences via weekly updates and photo sharing. They also shared useful tips to engage Riley so that the learning gets extended beyond the classroom. The variety of hands-on learning activities and school trips has stoked Riley’s joy in learning about the world. She would always regale us with stories about her school experiences and go to bed feeling excited about meeting her friends for a new day of learning, especially if there are special programmes like the BB Explorer or school trips.

BMP became the place for Riley to worship and connect with God while we had difficulties going to church regularly at the height of the covid pandemic. With the morning worship, bible storytelling, and the Easter and Christmas celebrations, the teachers have been faithful in letting Riley and her friends go close to Jesus. We trust that this has helped to build a strong foundation of faith for her. We hope that this joy in knowing Jesus would stay with Riley as she grows up through primary school. May the mustard seed of faith planted by BMP teachers blossom into a lifegiving tree.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Sengkang Methodist Preschool. Sending our children to this preschool has been a decision we will always cherish. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and confident in our choice.
