Some types of infertility treatment for women
Types of treatment depend on the causes that keep women from getting pregnant. Sometime, the causes are not unknown even to the 'branded' doctor in the field.
For women:
1. Blocked or damaged fallopian tube
Blocked fallopian tube prevents the passage of the fertilized egg into the uterus for implantation. Treatment for this may include a tubal survery to clear the fallopian tube.
2. Endometriosis
A surgery may be performed to remove tissue growth and help to clear the way for the fusion of sperm and egg.
3. Ovulation problem
Doctor may prescribe drug that can help your ovary to release egg.
4. Unexplained infertility
Treatment may include insemination and hormone injection. Sometimes the doctor may recommend you to go for IVF.

Ovulation disorder is a condition in which the normal ovulation process is affected. Without proper ovulation, it is hard for women to conceive. Clomiphene citrate (Clomid®) is a common drug used to treat women who suffers from ovulation disorder.
For a woman who is under 35, a couple is considered infertile if the woman and her husband have had regular unprotected sex for 12 months without conceiving a child.
