First, it is safe to eat cooked mussel in moderation while you are trying to conceive.


Vitamins and minerals in mussel included folate, vitamin A, B6, B12, E, panthoteric acid, potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper and phosphorus.


Mussel is a very good source of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 can help to regulate hormone, making it easy for you to predict the ovulation date.


Vitamin B12 is also important for sperm count.


However, due to moderate level of mercury in mussel as well as parasites in mussel, it is better for couples to have moderate amount of cooked mussel while trying to conceive.
