To celebrate World Wetlands Day 2019, join us and learn about the Keppel Discovery Wetland, a restored freshwater habitat of native flora and fauna. Walk through the different layers of tropical rainforest at the SPH Walk of Giants.

Learn all about the Estuarine Crocodiles that bask in the Reserve with our volunteer Bernard, who has a keen interest in our reptilian friend! Do drop by to have a chat with Bernard and learn fascinating information about the crocodiles – such as their characteristics and behaviour, and observe them as they go about their daily business.

Come down to Pasir Ris Park for the 2019 “Blue Carbon” Wood Sculpture Symposium by Sculpture Society (Singapore)! Through several activities open to the public during the 5-day symposium from 16 to 20 January 2019, you can try your hand at wood carving and art-making using recycled materials within the park. The local community can also come together to create a public sculpture, as well as learn from experts and artists on wetlands conservation, reducing carbon footprint, community art and woodcarving artistic processes.
