Safe to Eat Bayberry

Is it safe to eat Bayberry during pregnancy, breastfeeding or while trying to conceieve?Is it healthy for infant, toddler or childrent to eat?

Trying to conceive

Women needs to be very mindful about what they eat while trying to conceive. This is because what they eat will affect chance of conception and women needs to make sure their bodies are in good form so that the fetus can grow healthily inside her body.

During Pregnancy

Bayberry is a good source of vitamin C. 100 grams of bayberry can supply 97 percent of our daily requirement of vitamin C.

Vitamin C, being a natural antioxidant, boosts the immune system of the pregnant women, preventing attack by pollutants and free radicals which are compounds that can damage cells. Having sufficient vitamin C can prevent cold and flu and many other infectious diseases.

Bayberry also contains folic acid. Folic acid is important in preventing birth defect in the newborns.
