Safe to Eat Carrots

Is it safe to eat Carrots during pregnancy, breastfeeding or while trying to conceieve?Is it healthy for infant, toddler or childrent to eat?

Trying to conceive

Carrots contain beta-carotene which will be converted to vitamin A in the body. Vitamin A will help to produce female sex hormones which is important for ovulation.


For men, carrots can help to improve sperm quantity and sperm quality. These are two important factors in conception.


During Pregnancy

Carrots are rich in beta-carotene which is converted to vitamin A in the human body. Vitamin A helps to maintain good health of eye of the pregnant women and also support the development of sight in the fetus.


Carrots also contain vitamin C which is important for the immune system and can help to lower risk of birth defect.


Carrots is also a good source fo calcium which helps to maintain healthy and strong bone. This is important for pregnant women as pregnant women is more vulnerable to osteophrosis.
