Pregnant women should avoid the following vegetables

 Food to avoid during pregnancy. Pregnancy is an important when expecting mother needs to be mindful about what they eat.

1. Green tomato. It contains solanine. Solanine has the stimulating effect on stomach. It will also cause paralysis of the nervous system and may cause vomitingdizziness.

2. Fresh citron daylily. This vegetable contains colchicines. This chemical may cause stomach ache, diarrhea, vomiting when it enters the human body. However, if you wash the citron daylily before cooking, this chemical will mostly be dissolved in the water.

3. Potato that turned green or sprouted. When potato turns green or sprouted, it will contain solanine which will have a harmful effect on stomach and nervous system just like green tomato.
