Banana-Cado

Suitable for: 4 months to 6 months old baby

 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 ripe avocado

 

Method and Preparation:

Step 1: Peel and pit a ripe avocado.

Step 2: Cut the avocado flesh out and mash with a fork.

Step 3: Peel and mash 1 banana.

Step 4: Place in a blender or food processor and puree until desired texture is achieved. You can choose to mix with milk, yogurt or cereals for older babies.

Remarks on Banana-cado:

Bananas is rich in potassium, which helps to maintain healthy blood pressure. Bananas also contain lots of fiber, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Vitamin B2.
