It also help to maintain semen quality and sperm count. All these are important for successful conception.

Folic acid and Fertility

Women should start taking folic acid even before getting pregnant. Folic acid not only helps to improve fertility in women, it also helps to prevent birth defect. Folic acid is important to men by improving the quality and number of sperms in men.

Zinc and Fertility

For women, zinc helps to improve fertility by helping egg production. It improves fertility in men by maintaining production of the testosterone in men and improving the sperm count and motility.
