How to calculate ovulation date?

How to predict ovulation so that you can conceive more easily

In one menstrual cycle, there are five consecutive days in which a female is very likely to ovulate while the most likely date will be in the middle. The most likely date of ovulation period is calculated in the following manner:

Expected most likely date of ovulation = projected first date of next period - 14 days

For example: if 3rd Sep 2012 is the first day of your last period and menstrual cycle is 28 days.

Your projected first date of next period will be 1st Oct.

By substracting 14 days, the most likely first date of ovulate will be on 17th Sep and 15th September 2012 to 19th September 2012 are the most fertilize dates.

Another example: if 29th August 2012 is the first day of your last period and your menstrual cycle is 30 days. Your projected most likely date of ovulation will be on 13th September 2012.
