Almost 80% of the babies are born with curved or bowled legs. Some parents are concerned that it is rickets that causes the legs of infants not to be straight, this worry is in fact not necessary.
Because babies are cramped inside mothers' wombs, most of them will be born with bowled legs. Their legs should be straightened few months after they has learnt how to walk. If it persist, parents are advised to seek pediatrician's help.
